With over 15 years of experience as a Human Resources expert, Ashbinah Coney brings deep knowledge in people management, organizational leadership, and program administration to The Hyacinth Network. In addition to her HR background, Ashbinah has served as an administrator and worked directly with foster youth in both middle school and high school settings through her counseling roles — an experience that has fueled her lifelong passion for supporting and empowering young people.
Ashbinah holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Master’s in Human Resources, combining her skills in personal development and organizational effectiveness. Her heart for working with youth and her commitment to creating meaningful opportunities guide everything she does through The Hyacinth Network.

Ahmaad Coney brings over two decades of experience in finance, real estate, and property management to his role as CFO and Co-Founder of The Hyacinth Network. A licensed real estate broker and founder of The Coney Group, he has a proven track record of leading multi-site operations, managing complex budgets, and developing high-performing teams. At The Hyacinth Network, Ahmaad oversees financial strategy and operations while advancing the organization’s mission to support former foster youth through supportive housing and skill development. Providing financial literacy workshops, individualized support, and stable housing opportunities, Ahmaad is dedicated to turning struggle into strength and transforming potential into purpose for the next generation. His personal journey as a young adult fuels his deep commitment to mentorship and empowerment, enabling him to connect authentically and drive lasting impact for the young people he serves.
